An accredited coach, Liane founded Kemp Street Partners to bring an interpretive lens to help clients (individuals or teams) understand where they are and uncover their aspirations and potential. She combines the latest research with many years of business experience, to help clients create a learning agenda that aligns with their unique learning styles, fits into their busy daily schedules and brings lasting results. Then she supports them to move forward seamlessly as they adopt new approaches and experiment with new behaviours. Liane is also a highly experienced instructional designer and she has designed and delivered training and development programs across the world. Her current clients span Australia, Japan, Greater China, Singapore and India. Liane has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and she gained her coaching accreditation from Columbia University. She is a member of the International Coach Federation and is accredited in a number of psychometric tools, including the Hay Group ESCI, and the Neethling Brain Instrument (NBI). She has a particular passion and interest in leaders and leadership and her current research is focussed on understanding how the recent developments in behavioural neuroscience can be used to enable 21st century leaders.
21st Century Life and Leadership: Addressing the challenges of being a 21st century leader
The 21st century is challenging even the best leaders; their old leadership models are increasingly ineffective and yet the pressure for even greater performance is relentless. Using a narrative inquiry methodology, to describe the lived experiences of three senior leaders in diverse business sectors, this paper presents a coach practitioner’s perspective of the impact of a holistic approach to leadership development that incorporates intentional change theory and schema therapy.
